Your hike begins with a walk through vast sugarcane fields, setting a tranquil tone before you enter the lush canyon. Along the way, your expert guide will lead you through a steep and remote section of the trail, sharing fascinating insights into Mauritius’s unique ecosystem, from its plants and animals to its rich history.
After about 30 minutes of trekking, you’ll arrive at the first of many waterfalls. Over the course of the tour, you’ll discover all the waterfalls of this beautiful valley, each with its own distinct charm. You’ll have the opportunity to cool off by swimming in the refreshing natural pools that have been carved out of the rock at the foot of the falls.
